I’m gonna socialize after my surgery I just gave up in the mean time but it might’ve been a mistake because at least I used to be able to mask now I don’t even know how to do that I forgot

Yes I’m ashamed to say they’re pretty much the only people I talk to

I kept in touch with literally one guy after graduation but within 3 months we never spoke again

I had so many negative experiences in high school because I have a literal deformity in my eyes that now my heart rate goes to 140bpm, hands sweating, dizzy, etc whenever I have to talk to somebody

idk if u have ppl that truly love u but when ive been in misery loops they are what can pull u out and realize that its all in ur head, even if its just them for now u see

i say u should socialize online with no shame in the meantime, and by the time u get the surgery yk u can be back to masking, wish u the best gng

Yeah I have to drink to numb myself from the fear of going in public but I never allow myself to do it more than once a week

I just hope looking better will be enough to lift me out of this pit

Start small by going on a walk, just saying hi to people passing by or asking for the time.
Don't bother trying online you will just be back at square one.
Even if you fuck it up have the mindset of "I'm never going to see this person again"
Works wonders given time.
