They were awarded penalties for clear fouls, and Indian Ronaldo fanboys cried. Not a single person I know irl actually thought any of that. Ronaldo’s only goal was a penalty from a dive tho, and France were awarded two penalties against Argentina in the final lol

Oh and btw, Messi was the best player at the 2022 wc even without pens. 3 goals and 3 assists, beautiful assists against Netherlands and Croatia, and just the goal against Mexico alone was enough

Mbappe got glazed for his hattrick because it was the first time one was made in the finals, its obvious he's gonna be glazed for it.

Messi was ON the guy for his fault vs Algeria, his heel touched the player's leg first and his foot was put too far for it to have been a natural position to put his foot down. If it was, it would have touched the player's foot, not a perfect stomp on his leg. The other player should also have gotten a red.

His handball in 2022 was obviously intentional, its debatable that he should have gotten a yellow. It was a foul and yet it was just called as an offense.

Also Argentina has other uncalled fouls like Mac Allister against austria, where he first got the player's leg and then the ball.
