Orthotropics is legit to a degree, but you need intervention when you are young. I see no reason why humans would have genetic malocclusion and crowiding while no other mammals do. And what could you attribute the increase in malocclusion and smaller jaws in humans to?

Two identical twins one treated with traditional orthodontics with extractions, while the other was treated with orthotropics and no extractions. One has a more forward grown profile.

Orthodontists don’t want to admit malocclusion is a result of environment because then there wouldn’t be any recessed subhumans to “treat” with orthodontics.

Idk much about this topic but I think both genetics and development play a role. I think that if you have shit genetics you will already have some level of craniofacial dystrophy, but orthodontics can make it worse.
