Mini wing genio vs regular genio?

Mini wing osteotemy is done frequently in france but is it any better than a regular genioplasty? I heard that ramieri doesnt do them anymore and pagnoni straight up hates them. It’s hard to find before and afters and such. What’s the consensus here?

Mini wings are superior, They are better for camoflauging and dont create a strong step off.

Problems with mini wing is that it depends on how your nervs are placed in the jaw, this will effect how dangerouse and how big the mini wing can be. With proper planning is the mini wing superior and shouldnt cost much more then a genio

step off is a problem with both where did you see that mini wing don't create as strong step off? Anyway it's not an issue at all you can easily cover it with a bit of fat or hydroxyapatite after

As far as I understand mini wing were invented because the nerve was a problem in china wing osteotomies. So it's not really that.
