Exactly, very smart post. I've theorized about this many many times. Fading of looks and securing a young high quality partner is one of the reasons slayers go to LTR. They understand they won't be able to do this forever and decide to settle while they have strong leverage.

Even as a man that can slay, the older you get the worse quality you can LTR due to your fading youth plus the stigma of a bigger and bigger age gap.
