Minoxidil shed is driving me fucking crazy

My hair is literally just in a constant state of falling out, I didn't think it would be this insane, even places where I didn't apply it like the back and top of my head are just expelling hairs every single minute

Every time I run my hands through my hair I'll get like 10 hairs, I can do this over and over again hundreds of time and hair still comes oout, I'll just be chilling and feel a wisp fall down my neck or get on my shirt, It's ticklish and it hurts, so annoying

is this the result of stopping using it? Isn’t the whole point that it supposed to stop your hair loss not make it fall out
