Minoxidil shed

Is it normal to start shedding 1 week into treatment? I started using it on my temples about 10 days ago and my hairline looks fucking horrible right now, like deadass from norwood 2 to 2.5. Cant tell if its the minoxidil or just natural progression

usually, there is no way in 1 week you would see any progression of balding at all, but i dont think minox is the reason either, i've been using it for like 2 weeks and i dont see any changes, but if i'd have to choose, i'd say minox

Also not only are my temples thin as fuck, Im losing an insane amount of hair in the shower, its fucking insane, and its shedding from all over my head not just where Im applying the min

oh yea, its the minox but dont worry, that's normal(common side effect). trust the process

Yes it’s fine. That’s part of the oral minox sides.

Are you using any ancillaries with it?

Yea, I agree its probably not the balding process, its js weird because I thought the shed doesnt start until a month or 2 into minoxidil

No, I'm using the topical foam by itself rn. Trying to finish my growth before adding oral fin into the stack

I’m on oral minox and yes I’ve experienced it for 2 weeks and it stopped.
