Main histological findings regarding minoxidil topical usage showed that collagen content and tensile strength of burned area did not differ between groups

So alcohol is the only reason people are reporting premature aging of the skin from minoxidil?

It's mostly 96% ethanol, but there are brands without alcohol out there

Isnt minoxidil only applied on the scalp ?

Lifefuel indeed OP! I am going to get on this!
Even if it is alcohol based and thus drying out skin, couldn't you just remedy it with moisturizer? My hands look like 90 year old man hands from washing and sanitizing so much these days but as soon as I moisturize they're back to normal so I would have to assume any face drying causing wrinkles would be fixed the same way.
I also use Adapalene and sunscreen and Olay Retinol 24 so I don't think alcohol will cause me problems. I was under the impression that it was another mechanism underlying the "Minix causes wrinkles" claim.

I'll be the guinea pig and use it and keep moisturizing and then report back if I suspect it's just an alcohol issue. A user above also said he hasn't had any problems.
