Minoxidil truths?

Bought HIMS topical minoxidil to start using to grow my beard but worried about the side effects (that you'll start to lose hair, specifically scalp area)
Is this facts? Or am I a high inhib greycel?

You definitely shed hair initially but it should grow back.
