Been using topical Minoxidil 5% for almost a year now. It works, but cosmetically it’s been a pain.

My main issue is this :
  • I shower :feelspanties:
  • Apply minox to a clean, dry scalp for best absorption :feelspanties:
  • By the end of the day my hair looks greasy/coated
  • The next day the texture is completely ruined and feels unhealthy
  • I go outside, and the wind completely fucks it up

as you can see it looks awful and unhealthy, Not oily in a natural way, more like coated with residue.

Minox products usually advise application 2x a day but Minox acts for on average 22 hours and you get 80% of the effects from 1 application, so it seems kind of pointless to apply more specifically when just half the recommended amount makes me look like this :incel:

I was avoiding daily shampooing because of the “don’t strip natural oils” advice. In reality, that just left minoxidil residue sitting on my scalp for 48+ hours, which led to scalp soreness, worse texture, and poorer reapplication since residue from last application blocks da next

Sebum production is hormonally regulated, not wash-regulated, so letting residue sit only irritates the scalp, legit no benefit to having it after 4 hours it's absorbed and acts for the 22 hours.

  • Switching to once-daily minoxidil at night
  • Shampooing daily or near-daily to prevent residue buildup
  • Using conditioner only on mid-lengths and ends
  • No longer reapplying on top of old residue
Main concern is the daily showers using shampoo and conditioner, MIGHT screw me over, Any idea if this will fix things or how do others get around this? ASpplying 1x at night is fine

It's put together good but minoxidil might not be what you need, your hair looks unhealthy but the hairline is moderate to fine. Fix the diet. Eat whole foods while cutting out all junk food no processed meats either, sugars like pastries, grains and vegetables no rice no broccoli. Raw meat and fruits debloat with coconut water and bananas. ease into the diet but for a month straight just try to eat raw meat (Ruminant animals like cow and deer and not monogastric like chicken and pork) on top of this drink 5 liters of water a day and try to get adequate sunlight. Raw eggs yolks are good but cook the whites. Might sound crazy but this is actually called the primal diet and is our natural diets. People like FaceIq or Rorz support this. Try it out and it will fix your skin, hair, and health

Using minoxidil without fin is like planting trees during an active forest fire

Diet-wise I do watch some FaceIQ videos, but he doesn't seem to go over diet much? just reaction videos. Is it only in his Skool? I found his course free, but it didn't mention diet anywhere and was just beginner stuff about eyebrow dye and basic surgeries
