Minoxidil with tret for face

I have little to no facial hair at my cheeks.
im currently using tret .05 for acne and scars and want to start using minox for facial hair.
is it ok to use them together? are the gains permanent on cheeks? do they fall off once i stop using minox?

I used minox many years back and most of it stayed, it rly depends on genetics, i had nothing on cheeks and got a shitty stubble now, so don't go in with crazy expectations, also you gotta be consistent for a year or two for the gains to be permanent
