i think he’s a well written character but not that strong at all
In writing, they should have went all out with him being a rageful chud who cannot make peace with the visions he saw of the past, future and present and the fact that he would end up alone. I think the most well written character in the show was Bertholdt.

can’t tell if this is jester but i do agree that bertholdt should’ve stayed longer

No it I mean the ending of Eren having a meltdown would have been much more fitting if they just foreshadowed him regretting the things he would do, aka seeing the future via his cord attack titan powers and knowing what he would do but still pushing through it.

Bert was the best character, he did not have the most screen time but when he did, it was always well used and not loudly. He had a good start and good wrap to his entire character arc.
