ive used castor oil for like a year its clear consistency but ive seen the tiktok ones are like a yellow or green oil so idk if mine is wrong or not but i heard it just moisturises and makes it look thicker not really grow. If it does then mines a dupe or sumn

If it looks golden and is viscous, it's real. It does stimulate pge2 which can grow hair but it's mostly anecdotal
