Is it catfishing to take mirrored selfies? I do not know about the rest of you, but I look way better in mirrored selfies than non-mirrored selfies. Is me taking and sending people my mirrored selfie a catfish move? Because when they will come across me irl, they will realize how much of a subhuman I am due to my face being reversed. This is an accurate presentation of my face in non-mirrored selfies.

Stfu. I've asked multiple people if my mirrored selfie is more symetrical/better or my non-mirrored selfie. Almost all of them have said that my mirrored selfie is WAY more symmetrical.

go ahead and mirror every picture of someone you can find and ask yourself if you can spot significant differences aside from face shifting to the opposite side etc. Prob not, its literally a personal thing, ive mirrored the pictures of different faces including obv asymmetrical ones and they didn't really change how I saw them. IMO its a personal preference.

When I mirror my selfies I notice one eye looking more open than the other, so I pick pictures that are the most symmetrical with = open eyes, The only noticeable slight asymmetries I have are usually one eye being slightly open and one side of my face being slightly different, but these are the same for everyone, many examples exist online of taking left and right halves of faces and putting them together and it always looks uncanny and abnormal.

You seem to have this idea that the mirror is morphing your face like you're applying a filter or its magically idealizing your features when all it's doing is literally mirroring ur face, how people see you irl is actually better than how you see yourself in the mirror because the mind literally makes faces appear more symmetrical then they actually are, if you went out and looked at peoples face you would probably think everyone is symmetrical aside from me.

Unless your nose is huge, relative to your facial width and proportions, it’s unlikely that any small assymetry is accounted for by others. But yeah if you want to be a fucking SLAYER like legit on the money stare at me for hours gl then get rhino to be closer to perfect. No one is expecting perfection. Unless eye and facial bone assymetry are god awful like truecel or 4/10 level, the fixing of the crooked nose on its own will make the rest of the imperfections more acceptable even if noticed. Your nose is a huge part of the facial harmony.

There's nothing cope about them its literally shows exactly how it is, that all faces will have a slight level of asymmetry, what is there to cope, some faces can still look decent when one side is placed together while others actually look better with the asymmetrical sides. i saw all of them. They always choosed not straight pictures. But whatever helps you cope. True is, simmetry is very important in pictures.

The way you can confirm if my theory is right or not is if you mirror a picture of yourself from years ago if u looked different, your so used to the way u look now that mirroring an old photo of yourself will simply not trigger the same effect of you doing the same thing to how you look now. make sense? this is because ur mind doesnt see urself as the very old photo, I can confirm when I mirrored a picture of myself from 6 years ago and couldnt tell the difference as if it was far more symmetrical.

its not ur theory, thats the way it is and i never disagreed with it. We see ourself way weirder in the non mirror image than other people do because we are used to the image. The thing is that simmetry is still important and even more in pictures. What you see on the mirror dont show ur actually beauty level as well since you are used to the image and will tend to ignore failos (More than other people will). The true level is in between both.

Its the inverse that's true, your mind when looking at other people will automatically sees people to be more symmetrical than they actually are, you can test this yourself while looking at people's faces, from your pov it will look like everyone has decent symmetry but that is simply your mind doing autocorrect work, I believe this is due to some kind of evolutionary thing if you want a scientific reason.

your prob getting caught up on one or two features, im lucky the only obv difference in my case is eye size which can easily be corrected but if u have been reading the posts above you prob look better to people irl than u do in photos and mirror.

My nose is huge but for some reason when My uni took a photo of me for my school card, their camera made my nose look so much better. Idk if it was because of camera or what but it seemed as if I had gotten rhino. I couldn’t recognize my nose. Praying that that’s how people see it irl lmao.

This does seem to be the case if I’m gonna be honest. I’ve looked at my brother irl, in photos, and in mirrors. He looks 2 points higher irl than mirror and pics.

Hopefully that’s the case for me as well

Do yourself a favor like I am doing myself one and ask a rhinoplastician or similar person what your nose type is. There are only so many variations that yours could fit so they will be able to say to you with full certainty what your nose’s flaws and strengths are. I also struggle with self perception as in I can’t really get a grasp or sense of how my own nose or other features look so I’m doing just that in four days w local rhinoplastician

Another rec of mine which is kinda gay but good is you should try to see how the Bold Glamor TikTok filter looks on you. If you still look shit then its p much over without significant surgery. If it still kind of resembles you but you have the filter's darker eyebrows, lower bf%, tan, etc. then try to save that image and see how you can mimic that look.

Yoo I look p good in it actually. It just gave me perfect skin and made eyebrows darker. How can I achieve skin and brows like that?
Also, the faceapp Hollywood filter ascends me. Not sure how I can replicate it. It’s mostly about getting perfect skin
