I literally saw my mom and me in the same mirror and then looked at her directly and it was the same facial features wise, ofc flipped though

True, but this also then affects how you see the inverse image of yourself, so both are biased one way or another.

I think being slightly harsh with yourself about how you look in the mirror is the closest you can get. Or slightly optimistic about the inverse. Just measure your ratios and figure out where you stand on the scale tbh.
