Mirror vs Camera

In mirror i look really good but in camera i look average sometimes bad.

Am i coping or is mirror more accurate

Mirror:
Pros
- No Delay
- No Distortion
- Natural
- Perfect for getting light
- Simple
Cons
- Flip you

Camera:
Pros
- Can easily increase magnification
Cons
- Distort
- Artificial
- Flip you
- Cant pick up light as good
- Some delay

Camera has lens distortion. But with mirror it’s reflected so it’s not exactly how you appear to others.

people dont understand that there is 0 differnce between real yourself and reflected version mirrors only con is you tend to overrate yourself because you are so used to see yourself

i notice in cameras my jaw is narrower, and coloring is a bit off

i noticed that mirror selfie photo is ussualy accurate. At least im content how i look in mirror and on photo that way.

i notice the same, jaw narrowing is due to lens distortion for sure. idk about coloring maybe poor/unrealistic/unatural lighting? or the phone blocks light maybe

Mirror is the most accurate, flip doesn’t matter since all faces are assymtetric and nothing comes closer in coloring, proportions etc
