Misaligned bite causes asymmetry in jaw

How can I align teeth and get rid of the jaw asymmetry? Wont braces recess me??

I've heard so many different things about braces, some saying it fucks your jaw, others saying it helps your jaw. But braces should definitely help your facial symmetry, but I can't say whether it affects your jaw.

Well my jaw is asymmtric because of my bite. My teeth doesnt align straight, so i am pretty sure it'd make me more symmetric. I am just afraid the appliance would pull back my maxilla. What do you think about invisalign?

ask your ortho, i really dont know tbh bcs everybody says something different. I dont want to tell smth wrong.

Same issue here. get braces first. invisalign is best imo. planning to get ideal bite and then do chewing to fix it.
