Years ago I applied to be a painter for designer handbags. It was viral trend years ago where rich people would buy LV bags and paint shit on them like famous cartoon characters or objects. At the height of this trend I saw a job opening looking for an artist to paint bags and because I was an artist, I applied, sent my portfolio and everything. I remember being super excited because it seemed way more interesting than the job I was doing at the time (serving tables) and paid a lot more too.

Nonetheless I never heard back, or so I thought. Was going through my email and saw that they actually did reply to me I just never saw the email. Which is weird because I checked that email address often.

Made me sad because I genuinely excited about that job and I knew it would be great at it. If I had gotten that job I probably would have stayed in the state I was in for much longer, maybe even would have moved out of parents house out there.

Anyway that's it that's the story. Remember to check your email :feelscry:

I know, I don't even do art anymore but you know it seemed like such an interesting job to think they actually wanted me for it and all the while at the time I thought they snubbed me
