Which one should I start?
Which mogs for status and practicality?!

I plan to join a gym after I get rhino

You get more status for being a boxer than a MMA fighter. Boxing is also the better sport too.

How learning how to hide behind big soft gloves and rest when clinched is suposed to be more realistic than learning all aspects of fighting, with basicly no gloves i should add.

mma is way better. someone can train boxing for 20 years. but as soon as you take them down(which is easy af to do as a trained mma fighter). them 20 years experience turns to nothing and they are helpless.

mma is way more brutal. in boxing they put on puffed out clown gloves and fight for 10 rounds because barely any damage is inflicted. mma fights are way shorter usually cos its serious. boxing is kinda a meme. tying them up when they get close. if you tye someone up in mma you'll catch an elbow to the temple

You learn to fight on your feet, develop reflexing for dodging strikes and counter-attacking. Yeah, gloves arent the same as bare hands but that's just a minor difference compared to the athleticism gained from boxing benefit.

U will learn the same in mma mma but after longer time. Maybe start with boxing and after 6 months start mma. Ignoring wrestling and grappling is just stupid. What if u clinch in a fight? What if someone headlocks u from suprise? Your boxing goes out of the window.

boxer, its more simple and do not need to do gay ground move with other incel in mma
use it as a way to increase t, train body and lower bf%
its pointless to learn fighting in modern world tbh

no rules in street fights

Why even train combat sports then?

MMA is way more practical and I'd be way more scared of someone who knows MMA than someone who just knows Boxing. MMA is best in every way except your own health.

because being unathletic on your feet will get you beaten
Not knowing wrestling will as well. Wrestling is the best important part of the fight. U can always run away if u are standing. If u are in clinch or on the ground, u cant.

also others can stomp you if you're doing groundwork
Yes, so how do u avoid being on the ground? By learning clinching, takedown defence and standing up. Things u practice in mma gym

I agree with that tho
but still burning the other with a lighter while he tries clinching is a nice quick hack you won't get in trouble for

Just like in boxing, u learn both offence and defence. Same goes with wrestling and grappling. If u dont have certian reactions in your musle memory and that balance, theres huge risk of just falling down on the ground while u clinch in a fight and opponent doesnt gently stop like in boxing match. Also its usefull to be capable of taking someone down and controlling him easly. U can control agressive drunk guy at the party without even punching him. Mma teaches u all around hand to hand combat.

If u carry a lighter on first place and trust me, its hard to just find something in your pocked while on adrenaline and fighting. Its not thta easy. If u havent spend hours grappling, u wont be able to think fast enough to even do that. Its nice option on paper.

Jfl i just came out of finishing a boxing anime and saw this, weird how .me can read my mind sometimes. Anyways, like the above people said, for going pro do boxing and if u wanna learn how to fight do mma. Imo, id say do bjj and boxing if u wanna learn how to fight, mma is too hard and brutal just to learn the basics for street fighting. Also lol at getting a rhino and going into fighting sports, suleymans work of art is gonna fly off with a one two to the face.

as for going pro, u need to know ur own qualities before getting into any sport not just fighting. Maybe fighting sports arent meant for u and try others, who knows. For me personally, im a manlet with a high ape index, i have the skull and neck for a good chin, my kicks are shit, my punches are good especially speed wise. So for me, based on this info, id best be suited to be a boxer in the lightweight-welterweight category.

Try training for couple of years, if u are making progress faster than other people around u, u can make it as a pro.

Insane cope, boxers get much more brain damage and long term illnesses then mma fighters, you clearly dont know what you talking about

And yeah its true mma is better for 1v1 street fight, but if you get attacked by more then 1 guy boxing/kickboxing mogs hard (i know from experience)

But u dont understand that striking is part of mma? U will learn it in mma. Of course its gonna take a bit more time but in a few years span u can have good striking. If u are a great kickboxee but have 0 grappling, your years of traininggo out of the window when someone grabs u or tskes u down. Its delusional to think that u wont allow 3 guys to get close to u. U will get into the clinch and falling dawn on the ground is so easy in those situations if u are untrained in takedown defence.

MMA is a huge looksmin
