Hi, I was wondering what exactly a Modified Orbital Box Osteotomy (MOBO) can do. More specifically, aside from changing the position of the eyes, their spacing, etc., can MOBO also create space within the orbit to allow the eyeball to move backward? In theory it seems possible, since enophthalmos is a known risk of this surgery — but can that actually be the main goal of the procedure, in a safe and controlled way? In other words, can the surgery be specifically designed with that objective in mind?
