Hi, I was wondering what exactly a Modified Orbital Box Osteotomy (MOBO) can do. More specifically, aside from changing the position of the eyes, their spacing, etc., can MOBO also create space within the orbit to allow the eyeball to move backward? In theory it seems possible, since enophthalmos is a known risk of this surgery — but can that actually be the main goal of the procedure, in a safe and controlled way? In other words, can the surgery be specifically designed with that objective in mind?

yes orbital decompression but its shit and your most likely recessing yourself even more.

and you most likely would benefit from periorbital implants so you would be creating more volume with them.

U got me wrong i was asking if the Obo him self can allow the orbit to mouv back Ward with the latéral expansion

no but obo is usually pared with periorbital implants making them adding more volume around the orbits

U sure cause giant mentionne that it can créât enophtalmie and latéral expansion créât more Space in the orbit so its supposed to mouv backward no ?
