go to an all women’s salon next time, not those mixed barber/salon places. they’ll just give you some shitty bowl cut or a slightly longer version of one. gather a bunch of mod cut references from pinterest in different angles, front, side, 3/4 view, back, especially examples with similar hair texture to yours. save at least 10–20 photos so they can clearly see the shape, volume, layers, and length you actually want. women’s salons in general have a much better understanding of how bangs actually sit, separate, frame the face, and move throughout the day. ‘professional barbers’ don’t do that, they’ll just give you a shitty bowlcut, they’re not trained for long fluffy hair.
