Tbh that was an "icebreaker" for the presentation (I hope?) but yes I agree, almost nobody cares about intelectuality nowadays. You can express your genetic qualities by your looks but not by words and thoughts, despite IQ being arguably the ultimate feature that determines your success in life. And humans ultimately seek to keep people who they think have desirable genes and exterminate the ones who are defective. It's engrained in our DNA - just as simple as that.
