Thoughts on Katana's?

Idk much about the steel of a Katana, but design wise, I love this because it is clean, simple and deadly.

Personally I like it. It has no finger protection tho. Curved blades however will always take more surface on slashing. Strong points of Katana is the steel and weight

Brother, did you know Khalid ibn Al Walid (radiyallahu anhu) was named "Saifullah" or "The Sword of Allah" by the Prophet (alayhi a salat wa salam)

There is a very nice narration about him, when he was dying he said: “And here I am, dying in my bed, like cattle die. May the eyes of cowards never sleep.”
So his spouse according to a narration responded: "You would of never fell in battle, as the enemies of Allah can never sheath the sword of Allah"
