Moisturizers break me out, can I just use vitamin C serum?

So my face is normally dry. But my T zone (nose and forehead) get oily. I've used la roche-posay moistusiers before, but after a few days using it i just break out a lot. Im using aquaphor on my nose rn bcs its very dry (very cold where i live), but im thinking of using vitamin C serum.

Can i use it by itself or do i have to use it with a moisturiser? thanks

yo I could only get some high potency vitamin e cream (invite concentrated vitamin e cream). What’s the move with this, put all on my face or just test out on my nose for now? Keep in mind I’m only 18 so maybe I shouldn’t use a lot.

Put all on face make sure to use a facial cleanser then moisturise when your face is damp
