Ok so I was at a college activies/club fair or whatever. All the clubs are out tryna find new members and I'm there with my friend.

Im walking around and a girl at a stand comes up to me and asks me if I wanna be a part of their "Southeast Asian Culture" club or smth like that

Theres FOUR girls at that one single stand (cue autism )

I tell them i'm not southeast asian and told them I'm chinese

They tell me it's ok and that they'd love to have me, tons of non SEA dudes in the club

I PROCEED TO TELL THEM MY EX GF IS FROM SEA

girl that initially came up to me starts apologizing, other girls follow

one of the girls says that initial girl's ex is chinese and the initial girl starts saying stuff like (why'd you say that, wtf, etc.)

I leave and they shove a card in my hand
