No point in having useless scapegoatsIts not that big a deal. Monarchs are scapegoats, which is why people are happy to have them there.
When things go wrong, people tend to collectively shift the blame on a single person to ease the tension and find an easy "solution" out. It is actually very useful, because if people actually wanted to fairly and seriously blame, then they would see that everyone (including them) is guilty and this leads to mass violence. Think the French Revolution, for example. No point in having useless scapegoats
In democracy they can elect new leaders if they aren't happy with current onesWhen things go wrong, people tend to collectively shift the blame on a single person to ease the tension and find an easy "solution" out. Those leaders are also scapegoats, just chosen ones. The mechanism is literally the same, you seem to be missing the forest for the trees. In democracy they can elect new leaders if they aren't happy with current ones
That's the point, monarchs are useless tradition. I'm not using monarchs as scapegoats, you were the one who brought it up. and no, those conspiracy theories aren't true. Those leaders are also scapegoats, just chosen ones. Think about it; do you really think the remaining monarchs actively make important decisions that affect a countries' welfare in 2023? They are simply there as an image, so people like you shift blame upon them for the shit that happens in the world, while the Rothschilds and others are the ones actively fucking everyone's lives.
