install Feather Wallet and use it, just know the monero doesn't stay in the wallet address forever

got to Monero gui website and download, very easy to setup but u just have to find a Monero node to run. Find a video on YouTube if confused
Depends on your country but I would recommend using a p2p or even just buying BTC and swapping for XMR as lots of places offer swaps but not buying (especially with KYC)

Is there a way to use VPNs to get around the KYC, or are there Swaps that don't use KYC.

don't use GUI it's shit use Feather Wallet and you can buy monero by buying LTC or BTC or some other crypto currency and exchanging it to Monero
