It's 99% luck but hard work is still important. Even old money types were once jewish tax collectors who worked hard to build their fortune while being ostracised and attacked by the anti-semitic populace or some conqueror or bandit who grinded hard conquering and taking land through brutal wars or some slaver who built himself up capturing niggers or risked their life on the seas pirating IDK.

I prefer a cortisolminned lifestyle with minimal work and plenty of time spend to relax, be outside in nature, or whatever. I am willing to accept not having luxury goods to allow for this.
