Yes. Investing is a big thing, specifically with options to maximize leverage( leverage is the ability to multiply your gains with small money, and options can give you huge buying power ). The catch is that it’s time based so you have to be able to time the market properly. If you get one with long expiration then you would pay a lot more.

It’s difficult to say it’s a easy money hack. Luck plays a huge part. You have to get in early and also be able to time things out to a degree. With a long expiration you don’t have to worry of the time aspect but your roi would be a lot less then say with a 4-6 month option.

In the end longer is better with a strategy of averaging out , as usually things are quiet for a while before volatility occurs. The worst feeling is when the play you thought would occur with your investment occcurs late but your option expired , or it moved but not enough so you barely broke even when a less out of the money option worked.

Supply and demand. Its fucking gay cause I wasted many years in uni when some fucking certificate program would have gotten me a higher starting base pay salary ( although in the long run the pay is more limited ).

My career is in finance and we start lower but the pay is a lot more with tenure and the track you pursue. Anything in investment management has insane $$ to be made due to the team responsible for a fund getting a % of total returns. Even a small chunk can be a big amount when the amount is in the hundreds of millions of $, or bilions.

Obviously hardly any get selected to that level of a high track. But getting low to mid six figures $ is quite achievable in the career path for avg performers.

It’s still though not worth it as I would have much rather done some 9 month-1.5 year month course and finished education vs doing the scam of college . The chances of reaching that job where you get a cut of that lucrative investment management commission is very little, so no point in having hopium on that.

What they don’t tell you about college is the companies obsess about experience. For internships which don’t require experience they make it impossible by either favoring candidates with some experience that is close to the real thing ( so they want experience to get experience lmao). Or they expect near perfect grades ( so any c student gets fucked). You do have free ones available but then your forced to wage slave free and that idea is depressing. The reality is you have to do it

But this begs the question of experience is so sought after then what’s the point of a degree. It’s clearly not valued anymore even in fields with viable career paths that can earn a lot. They want experience. So then it’s better to just wage slave for 4-6 months in a long internship and then try to land a job working your way up. You then save years of time wasted in the scam of university.

Your also better of self learning or paying some course for the relevant things you want to do ( ideally in person as it’s difficult to lack discipline to do self paced stuff). Self paced can work but usually people procrastinate to much and buy extensions ( It took me 8 months to do a 4 month course ).

Overall be careful. The whole “ I’ll just get a relevant degree in stem or finance/accounting/science “ it’s bullshit. Only for medical field and maybe some sciences is it actually required . Your better of self learning the stuff you want to learn on your own pace and then being a corporate slave working for free for 4-6 months to get experience. Then re apply to whatever you want to do. Feel free to adjust the times to be longer if you feel it’s better for learning retention.
