but the goal is to make as much money as possible, not to be in debt

its good to be in debt sometimes. if i get a credit, i can move in earlier to my crib

id suggest you go more in depth for example :
  • Work at post office at 18 (27 and hour) (Wage slave / work over time) (18-19)
  • Trade school for HVAC (17-18)
  • Invest $6000 each year into roth IRA (18-65)
  • Become and HVAC contractor (About 200k a year) (19-20)
  • Hire HVAC employees (600k a year if they are good employees) (19-20)
  • Start house hacking (20-21)
  • Start real estate (20-45ish)
  • SMMA side hustle (17-45ish)
  • Invest in crypto (Not decided yet)

What do you think of buying dividend stocks instead of investing in Roth IRAs?

Such as American Express, Microsoft, Johnson and Johnson, or other consistent companies which have increased stock value steadily for decades.

Or do both?

Im pretty new moneymaxxing but wageslaving at the post office is definitely on the agenda when I turn 18

-work for a restaurant-supermarket between 16-17, you will develop better social skills
-start working for drywall-electric sub(because HVAC is a pain in the ass)
-start your construction management degree
-after a year become a project engineer intern at a bigger subcontractor
-after a year, if you don't wanna start your company in the future jump to GC
-work for a big GC as an intern until finish your degree
-if everything goes well you will become a Project Manager at 24-25 at a medium size GC ( it means you can easily make 250k-300k in your early 30s as a PM-Super)

I don't think you can be a contractor just after a year.

- Download a planning app like notion
- write down your goals and how much it will cost to achieve them
- plan out what wageslaving you’ll have to do for how long
- try to incorporate some of your talents for sidehustle while wageslaving (business/SoMe/whatever)
- minimize your spendings and invest everything exacta you make
- go full time on one of the side things that worked for you when it exceeds the wageslaving salary

Tbh idk that much about investing in specific stocks for long term retirement. If you have the money do both but your gonna get taxes 20% long term anyways so I’d just get the Roth IRA and max that baby out every year

Is this advice for me or in general?
