Looks like it at the moment. Especially in the UK they make disproportionate money. I’m not even above £20 an hour with masters degree and Plumbers usually charge like £50-100.

The tradesmen I know who make the most money have gone through their apprenticeship, worked for a company for a few years then started a company on their own. They work like fuck but one of my customers makes over 340k a year just plumbing by himself, but there are drawbacks

The former is his choice for being greedy and the latter is a business risk that’s more than compensated by making insane money…

I would start a business but it’s impossible in my field without huge amounts of seed capital that the career simply doesn’t pay enough to ever accumulate. The stuff I design at work is often into the millions of unit cost.

Plumber just needs some tools and a van.

I’m from Scotland. Honestly it’s fucking over without rich parents at this point. Stock markets are at insane highs and wages are suppressed, there’s no way to make money if you don’t already have a ton of it.
