Monobenzone. God of skin lightening or permanent damage bomb ?

I was surfing through forums when i found this skin lightening drug known as monobenzone often used for vitiligo patients to go fully depigmented. There's some redditors who claim that they have gone from dark brown to total pale. Not to mention even michael jackson used it
BUT there's a catch
It causes small white patches in skin which is irreversible and permanent there's nothing which can help you get your stable coloring back and even if it somehow comes back then it looks more darker than your actual color

The catch is the fact that it doesn't work properly if you don't already have vitiligo cus it requires autoimmunity to kill the melanocytes. There's a guy who didn't have vitiligo who used it and now he permanently looks like a cow. Don't use it if you don't already have vitiligo.

I'm already on hydroquinone 4%+kojic acid soap
But the maintenance is quite expensive

tbh it rlly depends on the individual, it can work but you gotta ask yourself whether it's worth the risk.

I actually have vitiligo so I'm a candidate for mono, I just cba ibr

It's extremely good bhai but the thing is it's not permanent you have to maintain it with sunscreens moisturizers lotions
So i was just thinking if monobenzone is worth a shot but seems like it isn't

From experience, I can tell you it's not. Cause there are other medically certified known brands like this one are listed at similer price ranges.
