honestly such an underrated film its so brilliant yet its not appreciated enough

mike wazowski studies so hard in uni and wanted to be a top tier scarer and monster better than anyone else but he just lacks the appearance and natural presence to be scary

it just shows sometimes no matter how much you want something and how hard you work sometimes you're just not cut out for it

hes far more educated than all the other monsters, has read and knows every scaring technique in the book, is an A star brilliant student

but what he lacks cannot be taught


hes just not scary, not even a little bit and is limited by his genetic package to emmit that monstrous presence the monsters inc world reveres and pedastalizes

even beauty and the beast that tries to be an anti blackpill movie still is counter intuitive

since not only does he change back to the human handsome prince

the beast himself by fictional beast and monster standards is actually good looking and has a dimorphic face
