Person A kills one human baby accidentally through driving under the influence

Person B purposely kills 3 birds to satisfy his sadistic desires

If you had to choose one person to keep away from society for life, through life sentencing, who would you pick, as a judge. You can only pick one, the other walks free. What is better for society, in your opinion.

Think of person A as an alcoholic who is unlikely to rehab

And person B has a psycho who is unlikely to get diagnosed

Person A kills one human baby accidentally through driving under the influence
Person A is inconsiderate to his actions and consequences, given the obvious drinking under the influence is unsafe and can cause multiple lives. He is not calculated nor rational about his actions.

Person B purposely kills 3 birds to satisfy his sadistic desires
Person B purposely channels his ill intentions on lower beings to satisfy his desires. Though the misdead is intentional and the morality is wicked, if he only kills the lower beings acknowledging his intentions, then it wouldn't hurt the world much.

In actual world setting, Person A can harm more people than Person B would.

From a Moral point, Person A > B because he doesn't have any immoral intentions.

But from actual safety of society point of view Person B > A. ( given the two statements )
