LowIQcels with the math abilities of a 18 year old marxist GTFO
Currently we use PSL * 1.25 to get IRL rating, but it sucks because it assumes both follow a bell curve. The truth is the PSL rating does, but not the IRL rating which is more linear.
Due to that we have things such as 5PSL being chadlite, which should give 6.5 as IRL rating. But a chadlite will easily get rated as a 7.5 maybe even more IRL. And a PSL6 chad will get rated much more than 7.5 IRL, more like a 8.5-8.75 at least.
So to get more accurate results especially for greycels who don't understand how they can be HTN and have a "supposed" IRL rating of 5.6 I have approximated a better conversion function that PSL * 1.25.
With x=PSL rating, y=IRL rating.
If below average (<4PSL)
If above average
Both give the proper result for 4PSL = 5IRL. I had to use two functions because the curve is weird and if using one function you get results like 4PSL = 5.5IRL which is a bit too high. I agree it's a bit complicated but it's much more precise.
