I don't do shit in my garden besides grow obscure species from seeds in pots and plant them, my soil is all grit and rock because that's what these plants require.

I modified my entire micro-climate to grow mountain plants specifically, once you have that 'foundation' you don't need to do shit besides pull the occasional dandelion.
