As quite a few people in here are planning surgeries it may be worthwhile to consider covid-19 related risks.
This is a link to a study examining data for 1128 patients:

Study is based on data from different types of surgeries including elective, emergency, minor (e.g. appendicectomy) and major (e.g. colon cancer surgery).
Mortality and complication rate were disproportionately high in general.
For patients under 29 yo mortality rate was 0% within 30 days post surgery and pulmonary problems rate was 29.1% (pulmonary problems defined as pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, or unexpected postoperative ventilation).
Data for plastic and reconstructive surgeries is really small (3 patients) but reported mortality rate was 0% and pulmonary problems rate was 66.67%.

I couldn't find more relevant study for us but if you have it feel free to include it.

i just want to die man

67% of patients had pulmonary problems after plastic surgery?

Really depends on your country tbh. Where I am there is nearly no cases and concern.

I had to take those long-ass sticks up my nose for my pre-surgery covid test last week.
Just self isolate while you heal. Nobody's gonna want to see your swollen face post surgery lol.
