In transparent democracies, ie not corrupt shitholes, populations are limited in size and also most industrial processes are largely efficient. This means there is a lot of focusing on maintaining more equality, like minimum wages, harder to dodge taxes, etc.

In third world hell holes it is much easier to make insane profits from any industry because high populations mean wages are kept super low and either the price of finished goods is high, cos they are sold in the west (a Chinese guy makes a factory to make dildos that western foids buy for $50 but he pays the riceman $0.05 to make) or the volume is so high in a market that is so captive (a curry farmer with 50 hectares of rice sells the rice at maybe $0.05 per 100g, but he is selling to a captive market of a billion curries so he makes millions).

The only challenge here is access to capital (the curry has to buy or rent the 50 hectares, the riceman has to buy/rent the factory and buy the silicon to make the dildos). In the west sure u can get capital injection by asking rich friends/parents but if u don't have this, as most don't, Ur only option is to get raped by banks, which makes most people either not bother, or just erodes your margin so u can't be rich.

In third world if u are connected, to local politicians or local old do instead families, or CCP in China, u can get the capital really easy, in both cases give appropriate kick backs to the person who facilitated the capital injection for you.

This is why being rich, say being able to afford a hatchback car, or a steak , is easier in the west, but being very rich is easier in shitholes, just know/go to school with right people or be a CCP member / government affiliation.
