In theory, creative spaces (writing, art, games, whatever the fuck) are supposed to be these communities where people share cool shit with each other, but 90+% of it is just fishing for validation from other losers in those same spaces. They want to post their shit there so that they get likes, upvotes, "OMG THIS IS SO COOL" comments, etc, so that they have something to attach their identity and worth to. They don't even really give a shit about the output itself. The output is secondary.
And it got five million times worse in the last 4 years or so. Now these spaces are infested with LGBT nonsense (because why wouldn't it? That shit also attracts losers) on top of it, adding another layer of bullshit on the existing bullshit.
But by far the biggest shitshow happened when AI started threatening their identities by letting anybody create shit, be it art or code or writing or whatever. You wouldn't believe the level of vitriol I've seen in these spaces whenever somebody even brings up AI at all, and it frequently spawns hate mobs, bullying, automatic bans, etc. But imo even before AI a ton of these losers were already insecure and toxic, bitter fucks (I'm also hateful and toxic tbh, but I also have 1000x the impulse control that they do, and actually legit reasons for being bitter).
Do you really think guys that actually have something to live for, girlfriends/wives (GOOD girlfriends mind you, not some obese monster that uses them for betabucks), are completely losing their shits over AI? For Chad, the output matters more than the method. For him, content is something he consumes as an extra, for fun. It's not the main dish for him. He doesn't attach his self-esteem to being good at making images or writing poems or whatever gay bullshit these retards are doing to convince themselves that they are not bottom of the barrel genetic subhumans. He just looks at an image (AI generated or not) and thinks "cool", and then goes back to fucking his girlfriend.
I am so fucking disillusioned with the entire concept of being a creative. There's maybe 1 person for every 10 dipshits that just wants to have fun and all the rest are refugees from Incelistan looking for a purpose.
