It does attract a certain psychotic type of person who constantly feels the need to micromanage the animal’s behaviour.

Ironically, cats are the opposite because they will literally not allow you to run that script since they love you on their own terms, which requires you to respect autonomy instead of trying to dominate it.
And personally I’ve always had more depth with people who kept cats. The dog-owner connections were fine, but they never had the same substance.

This argument doesn’t really make sense because cats can survive in nature and hunt their own food because they are literally just tigers in smaller form and yet they choose to stay in the house if they like their household.

I like both dogs and cats, each dynamic is cool, i have 3 dogs, i usually am with them when i want to be more active, play or just go hunting with them, they can play with you for the whole day and still not get tired or feel like they got enough attention, on the other hand i like chilling with my cat because she just sits on my lap without actively having to dedicate her too many energy, i still play hide and seek sometimes with her, if you notice it, each animal plays in the exact same way they hunt, its essentially training tbh

Cats play a lot in my experience lol i have both dogs and a cat and at their peak active level she deffo is more active than them when playing
