Your issue are prob buccal corridors (the black stuff around your mouth)

If you have a very narrow palate your corridors can be a huge issue, but that's not necessarily always the case, or even required MSE to be fixed. Orthodontics can reduce buccal corridors too. If your goal is purely aesthetics and you don't have any functional issues (or your palate is already good/average) then I would default to braces instead, less money, less pain, probably faster results.

This is an example of the results of orthodontic treatment for buccal corridor reduction:

It does look like your bite is fine, no misalignment, and it appears your teeth close fairly well. Although yeah, it might be that your palate is a bit narrow, but I can't really tell you that.

Ideally, you'd measure your distance from molar to molar and compare it to the average, if you're narrow you can do MSE. If you're not, then you can do braces, regardless, if you do MSE you will end up doing braces so...

That aside, even if your palate is actually narrow you don't necessarily need to get MSE, again, braces can fix buccal corridors and make your smile appear wider. Though there's only so much widening possible through braces, it might be enough to get you where you want to be without all the issues of MSE

Ironically if your palate is already average doing MSE to expand it further will just make you look worse, yk harmony and stuff, you need to be in the ideal ranges, and seek to have as much as you can for the sake of it.

These people already had good palates, but got the MSE anyway and objectively reduced their looks. I don't think this is what you want, specially for an expensive (6-10k), long (4-6 months) and painful procedure.

You go the orthodontist, tell them you want a wider smile, get tortured for a couple of months (aka. braces) and you're done
I have braces for over 2 years now

I have braces for over 2 years now
That's the thing, if your orthodontic treatment was done to correct tooth alignment and crowding, then your orthodontist probably wasn't thinking about your smile arch at all. Braces particularly used for that aesthetic outcomes follow different procedure as far as I'm aware, you may wanna talk to your orthodontist about it in your next appointment

also forgot to add invisaling can also help widen the smile too***

Your bite is good. Listen to your dentist.
No point messing around with braces or mse for marginal benefits (or looksmin)
