I feel like sociopathy/psychopathy is a scale rather than a on and off thing. You have serial killers like Ted Bundy and Ramirez and Netanyahu on one end and true angels like Mr.Rodgers (the actor not ER 
) at the other end, and everyone else scattered across the middle. A lot of people are incapable of empathy but mask it so well for the sake of social status. U see their true colors when they fuck you over or when push comes to shove and they're never there for you. The buddies that stick with you to the end are the real empaths slash goats and are forever long term buddies.
