people like Elliot did awful things but at the root of it he felt so disenfranchised with society and dating that it seemed his only option. the poor guy watched all of his friends get girls and he never could; it lasted for FIFTEEN years. imagine having to endure that long a torture. like, im sure if these guys had gone to a sports club once a week or picked up a hobby they wouldn’t have ever felt so alone so surely more should go onto activities instead of therapy to fix the male loneliness issue. Elliot didn’t want to do what he did but he felt it was necessary. To get that far that committing a crime like that is your only option, someone has to be pushed past most limits. It’s awful.
