Most shooters are simply just retarded and having one last emotional outburst before ending their pathetic lives. They do not plan anything other than blowing a few people's brain out including their own. It would be easy to amass a high kill count if you had two braincells. But these fuckers are just too low T and low IQ

Cho chainedd and locked many exits, and also routed his attack to target the paths people would use to hide or escape

Paddlock was hundreds of meters away and shot at people who were attending a concert. Fireworks, loud music, and a loud crowd would give a him headstart to pile up a bunch of bodies before people would eventually notice

Lanza targetted an elementary school. Students there aren't exactly known for running or thinking fast in such tense situations
