I think the idea is to enforce a total lifestyle of simple repetition and acquiescence to social power/social credit. You have to repeat what your friends, parents, coworkers tell you, "just be confident" "just go out there and be yourself". There is no direct punishment for being against this, but there is heavy social disapproval. Even at school, you have to follow these rules, and if you don't, there is no direct punishment but a guidance counselor will "talk to you" and tell you why you're are wrong to try and persuade you. I feel it would be better if they just told me that if I say anything negative about women then they Will beat me up. Instead we all have to go through this degrading, humiliating psychological experiment
