I used to think I just got unlucky with family, friends, etc. and that maybe I was just being treated poorly because of having below-average looks. But looking back at it now that I'm in my mid-30s and knowing all that I know, imo most people just have shit social skills, don't understand how to behave, and are cringy and irritating af in general.

I can count on one hand the number of people I've known IRL that I actually genuinely liked and enjoyed being around.
