Most people DON'T want to be billionaires - with around $10million considered the perfect amount of money for an 'absolutely ideal life', study shows

I am down to 8M. I don't know how I will eat in the year 2105. Not sure when to collect social security. It is an easy calculation if you assume the status quo remains the same, you just wait 7? years till the payment maxxes out. But the Congress could start means testing SS, or the treasury could go bankrupt, not sure how to factor in those black swan events to my calculation.

And totally agree with not wanting to be a billionaire. Too much responsibility. And there is that pressure to use the private jet, but you don't really want to go anywhere, you just want to sit at home and watch the US Open on TV. And if you have a 15,000 sq ft house you have to have a couple people working full time to maintain it, then you have to have a third person to manage it, then you lie awake at night realizing those three people could conspire to kill you and take all your shit.

i disagree with the article, it's a cope for the masses. it all depends on your lifestyle and how you use the money. more money simply opens up more opportunities, knowledge is what really matters. as big lottery wins prove time and again, most people are unprepared/unqualified to deal with large fortunes

and in your case SS won't greatly affect your lifestyle. it's a tough choice but i guess you could just SSmax and collect the max payment. congress will screw young people the most anyway. the real question is, what kind of lifestyle do you want between 65 and 90? just eat and sleep and play golf? you have to plan for big healthcare events, and for worst-case scenarios where you may have no choice but to be placed in a home, in which case, you may end up serving as a punching bag to some fellow with no impulse control

Sounds like bullshit, just gaslighting by rich people to convince others not to get rich, so they won't have competition.

HOW THE FUCK CAN I MAKE 10.000.000$ ???

one way is to start with $100 million, it's easy to average $10 million/year if you invest wisely

another is to have at least a downpayment of $1 million. you use that as leverage and borrow $4 million, and invest in a $5 million project, like real estate. you can also buy a business that's cashflowing nicely if you know what you're doing. in either case it helps to have an MBA or equiv

if you just don't have the cash, there's still a way. if you acquire the skills for it, you can get a high-paying job at a tech company with strong potential. if you negotiate your compensation well, you'll end up with valuable options that will end up reaching $10 million in 4-5 years. then all you have to do is exercise your options at the right time

there are a few other ways but the point is, if you want to get rich, you have to set yourself up for success. you cannot be a poor uneducated coomer dreaming about free money gibs

Indeed it is over

Im just saying boyo
Stop worrying about the future and worry about today
There really is no benefit to collecting amass amount of wealth unless you can pass it on
You wont die with it in your grave

Does anyone give a shit about you. Or did you spend your whole life with incel trauma
I do not know the answers to these questions but something to think about

This is coming from someone who's parents are rich (3mill networth) and still focusing on breaking their backs for their work, and invest into more property jfl. I have accepted they enjoy the grind at this point ..

social security and retirement is a fuckn joke, most of the elderly have to work-part time jobs just to live in a one bedroom apartment. You will be lucky enough to even afford to be in retirement home.
