My dad works in construction, buying a bunch of stupid shit constantly, bikes, alcohol, blows like 2-3k per trip to spain to eat at fanciest restaurant. Lived in an area of high rent his whole life despite it being dangerous and shithole.
Guys if ur literally busting ur ass in a hard ass work and ur paying rent, and u only got like 1k left after groceries and rent, ur basically busting ur ass for 1k a month.
The location pill is very brutal. Find work that u can commute to from a cheaper area in terms of housing, dont be a retaded consumerist, and only buy essentials. With an EU passport he could have done construction in germany or some shit where they pay way more, lived in a polish border town where he would have commuted from work. You would have lived in a way nicer home, payed way less for groceries, way safer community, kids would have went to a better school, more savings.
I thought of this on the spot. People genually do not do research, dont do side hustles, are genually so fucking defeated and just work their dick off and by the time they come home are too drained to do anything else. Then pick up addictions to cope with the shitty work.
Remember never skip brainday.
