Like if they want to gain muscle or strength, they go to the gym and do all these strange calculated exercises within a "workout", when they could just exercise throughout the day with their bodyweight

If they want to eat "healthy", they overcomplicate it when they could just eat fruits and nuts

The power lies in simplicity

Nigger how many exercises are there you can do with bodyweight? Compare that to the gym

That's the whole point. U don't need all these isolated exercises. With bodyweight, u can do pull ups, chin ups, push ups, dips, and harder variations. That's what builds a good, strong body. Using your body functionally. Not some bs manmade machine to try and isolate a particular muscle

Not that
And I hate that retard
It's just working out in a gym and in a short timeframe workout makes 0 sense, and is a human approach, which is ironic considering we have worse physiques than other animals

Keep overcomplicating it with "muh you have to perform 10 repetitions of this cable exercise to isolate your ____". Or just use your body to regularly lift yourself throughout the day, and get better results

i get the point but gym mogs body weight exercises for both strength and hypertrophy

but yes simplicity is key

If you want to get stupidly stocky, yes
But if you want to get functionally strong and replicate what would happen outside of a modern sedentary environment, while building a proportioned physique, calisthenics is better

you don’t need to be doing push ups and pull ups all day to build actual strength. you can spend way less time in the gym and get the same, if not better, functional results.

most people don’t have the genetics to get stupidly stocky from lifting anyway (unless you’re a bbc). not trying to be like a science guy but smart gym training beats endlessly spamming bodyweight stuff.

and i didn’t mean you do callisthenics all day but just spamming reps on body weight exercises is just effort

Nah
The idea is to be less sedentary and actively use your body more
Humans are the only animals to "workout". My approach is closer to how other apes use their bodies throughout the day

Agree.

All of these things are simple, but retards still find a way to overcomplicate it.

Build muscle = train hard with decent volume
Cut fat = caloric deficit, high protein, train hard
Eat healthy = eat clean with variety

Doing just this will reap 90% of the benefits

Once you got the basics down your focus can go to fine tuning. Losing yourself in the details right off the bat is a sure fire way to failure
